Invitation exercise - Olivia and Luke's wedding!
For this project I utilized InDesign to build on previous knowledge about proximity and alignment. This assignment tasked us with crafting an imaginative invitation using solely typography. The guidelines restricted us to utilizing two colors at most, employing a maximum of two typefaces, and prohibited the use of photos, illustrations, or type effects. To initiate the creative process, I brainstormed various invitation formats, aiming to identify the one where I could showcase the utmost creativity solely through typography. As I pondered, the idea of using initials as a background element with increased transparency struck me, leading me to design a wedding invitation. Opting for a simple black and white color scheme, I aimed to capture the elegance and sophistication of the big day within the design.
